Over the course of two years La Marzocco worked with thirty of the world’s finest coffee
professionals to design a machine. This group was known as the “Street Team”; the Strada, Italian for street, was named in their honor. A lower profile invites customer engagement in a café setting, while also providing the barista an open, expansive work area.
The Strada platform has been designed to encourage creativity and customization so that each machine can be unique. The Strada is available in 5 different configurations to meet the specific needs of baristas and cafes around the world. All configurations are equipped with the finest La Marzocco technology and provide users great ergonomics, barista-friendly design and electronics in a machine that enables to showcase the very best of each coffee.

Tying pressure profiles to a target weight managed by La Marzocco’s predictive mass algorithm creates unparalleled consistency from shot to shot—even with the most adventurous pressure curve.
paddle-based profile control
A redesigned paddle ensures that the Strada X automatically tunes your pressure inputs into a profile that won’t damage the puck and result in channeling.
independent boilers
Grouphead specific boilers allow for simultaneous custom brew temperatures while a separate steam boiler delivers on-demand steam pressure.
independent pumps
An external pump provides stable pressure for Smart Saturation while grouphead specific pumps can run unique simultaneous pressure profiles.
smart saturation
By automating the preinfusion stage based on backpressure sensed in the grouphead, the new Smart Saturation feature ensures that every espresso puck is fully saturated before the pump is engaged.
independent pumps
An external pump provides stable pressure for Smart Saturation while grouphead specific pumps can run unique simultaneous pressure profiles.
pid temperature control
Set independent temperatures for each grouphead and steam boiler accurate to 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit.
team flush
